About Prof. Felicity Shukurova

Felicity was born into a very high-class family. Her father, who was born in an orphanage, started a lucrative career as the only wand-maker in the Northern United States. From this, he was able to supply his family with everything and anything they wanted. Her mother, who had met her father when working for him, stayed at home when Felicity and her brother were growing up but then went to work at a muggle library when the two were at school.

When Felicity was born, her mother had been through a lot. She had went into labor two nights previous and was battle a nasty cold. However, she was able to deliver both Felicity and her twin brother, Justin. Felicity is the older sibling by just about four seconds, something she would hold over her brother’s head for the rest of his life.

From the time of her birth until the age of eleven, Felicity grew to embrace and love both the magical and muggle sides of the world. It was no shock to the family when she started showing traces of magical ability. Her brother, who was more into muggle aspects of life, slowly developed his magical powers. When they were both eleven, they were sent to Hogwarts and during Winter Breaks, lived with family they had oversees.

When they arrived, Felicity aruged with the hat. It wanted to place her in Gryffindor, yet she felt like a Hufflepuff. The hat won. Justin, her brother, was placed into Slytherin. Felicity soon grew to dislike most of the practical courses she took. She found wand waving wasn’t her cup of tea, but found History and Herbology spoke to her more than one way. In her fourth year, her mother gave her the Amello Stone. Pink in color, it looks like a plain rock connected to a gold chain. However, this stone holds immense magical powers. When used, it gives the wearer the ability to understand what plants feel. In other words, she can speak with the plants she takes care of.

The stone, along with her crazy dress style, caused her much grief in her last few years at Hogwarts. She ignored it however and went on to graduate at the top of her class. Once she was finished, she went on to work at a Herbologist Camp. She visited the Americas, but maintains a flat in London.

Her brother and her have grown close over the last few years, simply because Justin came out to her and close friends at the age of 24. He has yet to tell his family, but who knows…Felicity has worked wonders before.

At the age of 28, she was asked to use all the skills she learned working with plants to teach at Hogwarts. She also applied and was accepting to work as Deputy Head of the Plant Regulation Department. So here she is…and here we go.

Most recently, Felicity has become an active leader of the Order of the Pheonix. She is now a Governor, Department of Herbology, Director of Admissions, and Gryffindor Head of House. She met and married Evan Lash, a fellow order member. They have twins, a girl named Elisabeth Rose and a boy named Callen Michael.

Felicity's husband Evan went missing and Felicity ran into an old flame, Alexander Shukurova. They got married and had a son Jericho Elijah.
